Update to 6.12.1, now receiving "ERRORS on cache pool" messages

Featured Replies

I upgraded from 6.12.0 to 6.12.1 last night.   Sometime early morning my cache pool (2x samsung evo 860 1TB, btrfs) corrupted and brought docker to a non-functional state.  Performed a balance, scrub (mass errors so I halted it), reboot, balance, scrub (successful).  Removed/replaced docker image and reinstalled all docker apps.  Everything ran fine for apx 1 hour.  From that point, I receive an error notification (email/discord) that states:

Subject:  unRAID Status: ERRORS on cache pool
Event: Unraid Status
Subject: ERRORS on cache pool
Description: No description
Importance: warning

Checking scrub / balance show no errors.  re-running both show no errors.

Exported Dx records and reverted to 6.12.0

Everything ran fine for 30 minutes or so and then I started receiving the errors again.  I've not had this issue prior.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  I've glossed over the dx logs but don't know what I'm looking for.

That comes from a script monitoring the pool, since there were errors you need to reset them, you can do it with:

btrfs dev stats -z /mnt/cache

Thank you so very much.  I've made a note of that for a future solution.
