Been using unRAID for about a year now and it just keeps getting batter & better

 

It's now pretty much at a point where it does everything I need. In the past 12 months we've seen the addition of timemachine support, PLEX and now SqueezeServer, essentially everything I need to run storage and media serving in my house.

 

Thanks to Limetech and everyone else who's working hard to make this a really great solution.

I agree with the above, I have just upgraded to the latest beta and am hashing my library of media with the excellent Plex plugin. Many thanks to all of the developers who put in hard work to make such awesome tools.

I must say unRAID impressed me today.  I had my first drive failure recently.  I'm currently rebuilding the data from the drive from parity onto a new drive.

 

The cool aspect...if I go to my synology browser, where each drive and user share is mounted remotely; I can still see all my files and folder structure from the failed disk- and have the ability to write to the drive.  Pretty cool if you ask me.
