Docker Contains pull 0 bytes

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I am having a very odd issue, when I try to run the update of a docker container, it runs successfully but pulls 0 bytes, so the container never updated.

I have provided a screenshot of the logs. Any suggestions on what I should do next?

ok so for my issue it was something to do with the DNS settings

I changed the nameserver in Unraid's /etc/resolv.conf file to 8.8.8.8 and things are now downloading from docker again.

I have the same issue with unraid 7.2.5 I can't update any container but I can install new ones no problem. I don't understand what the difference in pulling in Unraid is between updating and installing new. Do I have to reinstall everything? Are there any logs that help in diagnosing the issue?

EDIT: Was able to figure it out. Most containers were from a repository by "linuxserver" and were pulling with an old url I replaced them with ghcr (dot) io and now it works.
