Posted August 21, 201113 yr Is there a way that the system auto s3 sleeps when a certain time after the drives spin down and then wakes up when the shares are accessed?
August 21, 201113 yr There is a way you can do so, but it is a user addon and customization that you must walk through to figure out exactly what works for your specific system. The waking up is done when you send it the Magic WOL packet, it is not done via any generic access.

The reason I would like this is because I want to make it idle at less power.
