Question on MD-1500/LL

Hi,

my system is an original MD-1500/LL from Lime Technology. It's detailed hardware list can be found on the website. I do have some questions about temperature not showing always, drives not spinning down and the lights on the 5-in-3 cages. I'm using Samsung 750GB drives of type HD753LJ. All drives are new and are currently filled. Everything is working except ...

1.) The first 6 drives are connected to the onboard SATA ports:

spin-down: no (double checked bios, SMART is set enabled)

temperature in GUI: yes

green lights on cage: flash when in use, else no light

2.) The next 8 drives are connected to the two Promise controllers of type SATA300 TX4:

spin-down: yes

temperature in GUI: no

green lights on cage: flash when in use, else no light

3.) The last drive is connected to the Jmicron port:

spin-down: no

temperature in GUI: no

green light on cage: always on

As you can see all three behave different. What switches/options do I need to use to make them the same?
