Upgrade 6.12.2 completely screwed up my network settings

Featured Replies

I regrettably upgrade my unRAID server from 6.11.5 tonight to 6.12.2 and my server is no longer able to connect to network. The system is still recognizing my USB-C 2.5G adapter, but there was an error found with the plugin that allowed it to work so it made me uninstall it? My server isn't even recognizing the built-in network card either. Completely at a loss to what to do here. I downgraded to 6.11.5 but the issue remains. Never experienced an issue like this before. Yikes.

Sorry about that, here's the full diagnostics file.

Is there a way of manually installing this driver without network? I can access the GUI through flash, but I have no network connection on the server. I've tried manually putting the .plg on my flashdrive and doing it that way, but when I boot unRAID identifies places it in the plugin_error folder.

Not sure, but the onboard NIC is not being detected, and this is not a software issue, double check the NIC is enabled in the BIOS and/or reset CMOS.

I was able to access the webGUI from another computer on my network just fine before updating, so not sure how it can be unrelated. I will try to see if resetting the CMOS improves anything.

So I reset the CMOS and unRAID is detecting my network card again and I have been able to access the server via the web GUI, however, for some reason its giving me an error saying "Trial key requires an internet connection" which is strange because it's connected to the internet. Any idea what could be causing this?

Make sure date and time, including timezone, are correctly set after the CMOS reset.
