Random crashes since 6.12.0 (Solved)

Featured Replies

Hi, my Unraid server has been working without issue until 6.12.0 upgrade, then 6.12.1 and 6.12.2.  It would crash at random and I had to hard reboot it several times. The latest one was this morning around 3:27am.

Attached is the sys diagnostics.

I've seen one 'critical' message in syslog around that time:

kernel BUG at arch/x86/kvm/mmu/tdp_mmu.c:560!

Try switching to ipvlan (Settings -> Docker Settings -> Docker custom network type -> ipvlan (advanced view must be enabled, top right)).

Thank you, @JorgeB  I'll try it.

Is there something changed in Docker?  I've never touched that setting before and the problem only started after 6.12.0

Not directly but with every new release new users get affected by this issue.

It's been several days and it seems switching to ipvlan did the trick. No crashes since.

Thank you @JorgeB
