Preclear fails ... new 12tb HDD seems not well

I have a new 12TB drive I am trying to add (replace older 2TB drive) but constantly fails ebery attempt.

Tried preclearing and get this:

Anything else I can try to do to recover the use of the disk?

IT has been several hours and no reply in your thread.  Try to get a SMART report on that drive to give the Gurus a bit more meat to chew on.
