[6.12.2] Having trouble deleting files in a share

Featured Replies

Running 6.12.2. Trying to delete a share that was previously the location of my Plex transcode folder. Trying to delete the files through multiple ways(mc, ssh, gui file manager) but after every command it just sits there or errors out. Have tried fix permissions and that just sits and spins as well. Any advice? Attached diagnostics and a listing of whats in the folder.

Second attempt. Files are just on drive1.

Tried to run a file system check on that drive and it got killed for "Out of memory".

Try rebooting then run a filesystem check again.

That's kind of strange, it's not lack of RAM, you could try updating to v6.12 and rerunning with the newer xfsprogs.

Even limiting to 6gb fails due to out of memory. Is my RAM done?

Ok I upgraded and it seems to be stable while running and it found errors.

Make sure you run it without -n so they are corrected.

Killed by out of memory again. Even limiting it to 6GB it slows ramps up to almost the full 16GB on my server. What should I do this fix this? Is this a bad ram issue, USB drive? Can I just unmount that drive, reformat it, and rebuild from parity?

Looks more like a corrupt filesystem issue that xfs_repair is unable to fix, I assume running xfs_repair on the remaining disks doesn't cause OOM?
