Win 10 VM Steam getting disk write error when writing to Unraid Share via VirtioFS

Hey, I set up Unraids VirtioFS on my windows vm, the drive is recognised and I am able to read and write to the unraid share "Games", but when I try to download new games onto the share through the vm I get a disk write error from steam.
