July 12, 20232 yr Good day people, I am having this small issue that is hard to even know is happening because it doesn't hurt the operation of my server and the use I get out of it. So a few months ago, I added another SSD to the cache pool. Since then, every few weeks or days, I have a higher CPU usage, and at first, I couldn't figure out what was going on. Then I saw the STOP and the MOVE button flashing (available then not available and like that in a non-stop loop) with a message below saying that "BTRFS Operation is running." I am still an unpaid noob and do not know what to look for in the diagnostic files. If someone can help it would be greatly appreciated. teslatower-diagnostics-20230712-0811.zip
July 12, 20232 yr Community Expert Do you see the btrfs operation going now or when the diags were saved? There's nothing logged.
July 12, 20232 yr Author I couldn't run the diagnostics while the BTRFS was running, had to restart the computer then ran the diagnostic.
July 12, 20232 yr Community Expert Do you have any scheduled scrub of balance for a btrfs pool? You can see that after clicking on the pool and scrolling down.
July 12, 20232 yr Author No scrub is scheduled but I noticed this under the "balance status" : No balance found on '/mnt/cache'

July 12, 20232 yr Community Expert When it happens again see if you can save the syslog: cp /var/log/syslog /boot/syslog.txt
