Cache Drive (nvme) is set to read only. Scrub and Balance will not run

everytime my move runs it fills the cache drive and is unusable now. everting that was working stops because the cache drive is full. Which of course starts a whole new series of problems.

Note that any share that has Use Cache=Prefer will try to move data onto the pool.   I suspect that you do not want this for the ‘data’ share?   The other ones set to Prefer are normally kept on the cache for optimal performance.

 

You should also set a sensible Minimum Free Space value for the cache to prevent it filling up completely if everything configured to go there will not fit.

looking at my settings, what should they be set to ?

the server is not working again. docker wont start and my vms are not loading. unbalance wont move files (it starts and shows progress but nothing is shown as moved in the main tab) i changed cache settings on the shares. my log is completely full. How do i fix this and get it back to operational. Soo frustrated now,

I would think the 'data' share should be Use Cache=Yes, while the others look OK.
