Network br0 running on 100Mbps instead of 1000Mbps

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm running latest unRAID version (6.12.1). The hardware has two 2.5GbE nics, one of which is connected to a switch on a 1GbE port. I ran Windows 11 on this server prior to installing unRAID and I got full 1000Mbps on it. However, in unRAID, I see that my ethernet port is tied to a bridge (br0) and br0 is running on 100Mbps only, instead of 1000Mbps. I did not fiddle with network settings, everything is default. Here are the screenshots of my setup.

NOTE: I'm also running a docker container, but no VMs.

NOTE: I've checked the cable and the switch port. They report 1000Mbps on my Macbook and windows properly.

How can I get br0 / eth1 to run on full 1000Mbps connection?

Thanks in advance!

I found that the port on the switch was yellow. I put the cable in another port and green light came on. And now I get 1000 Mbps.
