Unraid hardware upgrade to Dell T340 nothing showing.

Featured Replies

Hello.

I am new to this upgrade thing. My previous setup was setup by a friend and I thought I looked up everything but when I boot nothing is found.

No License and the drives arent found.

Hardware is a Dell T340 with stock hardware.

I believe it might be the PERC H730P RAID Controller.

Please help.

I need to know if I need the old system back.

I only use this for Plex so no VMs or anything else running.

RAID controllers are not recommend, it might work if you create a raid0/jbod volume for each disk, but still not recommended.

I understand this, But there is multiple people who are using these (I have read claims in other post) and I just need help configuring this, I don't know how to go about this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cannot help with that as I've never used of those, but usually you go into the controller BIOS and create the volumes.
