July 14, 20232 yr In bowser, tower.local longer connects if the VPN is on. Using Surfshark VPN and Linux, if turn VPN off connects fine, so completely lost as to what it could be or how to fix?
July 14, 20232 yr Hello erfly7, Hope you are ready for the weekend! I had a similar issue whenever I got started with NordVPN. I'm not the most familiar with Surfshark, but I basically had to add a tunnel/exception for tower.local in order to access the webGUI and the Network shares. Adding a tunnel/exception allows you to access whatever it is without utilizing the VPN. I'm not the smartest network guy, but I hope this helps! Wishing you the best -DD
