Windows 10 current best practice

Featured Replies

After 2 years from unRAID I thought I would find it easy to return and set up a few VMs. I have two GPUs, both stubbed and with Rom files. I have several USB controllers also stubbed.

I can install Debian Linux and boot and reboot the VM so attach and detach GPU and USB no issues. But with Windows 10 and 11 it is a nightmare. After installing with VNC, every time I boot with GPU I get no display and no error messages in log. NADA! I started with i440FX and Seabios but I have tried Seabios & OVMF, Q35 and i440FX and all combinations. No difference. I have tried older versions of Q35 and i440FX. No difference. I tried the out of date Wiki info https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/manual/vm-support/. I disabled Hibernation and Fast Startup

I am at wits end cos Debian "just works".... God I hate Windows but it IS better for gaming. And I want to be able to boot Debian, Windows and MacOS VMs on each GPU (GPUs are both fully Mac compatible).

I could do with some help, please?
