The drive connecting to HBA card not found after upgrdaing from 6.9 to 6.12.3

Hi all,

 

When I upgrade from 6.9 to 6.12.3, all the harddisk connecting to HBA 9300-8i cannot be found in unraid. I have attached diahnostic file. Please help to give me some instructions for fixing this issue.

HBA failed to initialize, are you using the latest firmware?

I try to follow the guide here to update the firmware but it cannot find my HBA cards so I cannot update the firmware.

Firmware is on the Broadcom site, under legacy HBA.

Since the HBA is failing to initialize you might need to downgrade to v6.9 again before doing it.

Thank you for your reply. I have tried to downgrade to 6.9.2 but the problem cannot be solved. I am planning to replace it by a new HBA card.  Do you have any suggestion??

So the HBA no longer works with v6.9? That suggests the update was no the problem, as for recommended controllers that is one of them, other models here:
