July 17, 20232 yr Yesterday i was trying to reach better C States on my Mainboard and also enable the cache on my drives on the Raid Card. Was a bad Idear since unraid wont mount the Drives. Start in Maintainance Mode and trying the brtfs repair showed no Error only one xfs showed some errors but the Repair whitout the -n did not make it mountable. After Googling and Unraid German post i found out i have to do a Rebuild from parity. Tried it whit the smallest Drive whit some little Data on it 16hours later....This made the Drive "Wrong or no Filesystem" A quick repair and the Drive did mount again. Data Save (2gb data on it ) Next Drive. Removing the big Plate whit most data on it and Starting the Array again so i can star rebuild. Drives is in Unnassigned devices and wait ? I can klick on the Drive and see all Settings ? Also the Folders can be acces and downloaded from !! I can play the Movies. ITS OVER 9000 !! Everything is there. So im scared to reboot or do other stuff all i know that im save since the Parity is still ok. But i wont Reboot for now. Is there a way i dont have to rebuild all drives ?. The Small 8TB drive took me more then 17 hours to rebuild. Thats the Smalles Drive.... I did tripple check if the Files where on the Fixed drive but no the drive is empty... 1. Diagnostic bevore the rebuild 2. Ater the rebuild. 2. After the Rebuild Sry for bad English and yeah im buying a SAS HBA card... 1xtower-diagnostics-20230716-1524.zip 2xtower-diagnostics-20230717-0955.zip Edited July 17, 20232 yr by Sumeragy Adden Screenshots
July 17, 20232 yr Community Expert If the emulated disk is mounting you just need to rebuild on top, once that one is done repeat for the next disk.
July 17, 20232 yr Author Damit was hoping that i dont have to rebuild it. The 8tb drive took 17 hours. XD theres no way to do all at once isnt it

July 17, 20232 yr Author I did start the rebuild 30 mins ago. I can STILL acces data on the parity repair disk ? Is this normal ? Jup Playback is working Oo Btw buying a second parity atm. XD

July 17, 20232 yr Author Is there a way to see how much data is on a drive ? As far i know i got drives that where empty wich i would rather prefer to format instead of rebuilding it? 1. Rebuild all Data disk to keep Parity 2. Format empty drives loose parity but faster to rebuild. There are drives that have only about 4tb and moving those date around i would prefer. Is there a way this is possible whitout loosing parity ?

July 17, 20232 yr Author I did try to mount them in Maintainance mode but gave me some errors. I was follwing the Support guide whit this command mount -o rescue=all,ro /dev/sdX1 /temp Wich resultet in some error wich i can´t coppy atm since the rebuild is running.
July 17, 20232 yr Community Expert If it doesn't mount with that you really need to rebuild them one at a time.
