OsoPolar
HI Guys Having a nightmare i waited untill version 6.12.3 rolled ouit before updating. I stopped my VM's with VM manager and my Docker Continers manually took array offline. The used O/S updater everything went fine no errors reported or seen. On reboot no VM's no Containers showing what can i do to get them back ? bearcave-diagnostics-20230718-1653.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
According to diags both the docker and libvirt images are new, docker you can just re-create the image, for libvirt all volumes appear to be mounting, post output of: find /mnt -name libvirt.img Quote Link to comment
OsoPolar
Think it has stopped now no further output. Please can you explain why this has occurred? Not sure what you mean add them back i dont want to reconfigure some 25 containers again and setup my VM's I have Home Assistant on one with years of configurations on it. Is not possible to rollback ? Edited July 18, 2023 by OsoPolar Quote Link to comment

As for libvirt you have multiple images, check that date on the other ones and/or try them. Quote Link to comment
OsoPolar
Hello i am kind of noobish re the backend of Unraid When you say multiple libvert images check date how do i do this ? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
you can do ls -lh /path/to/libvirt.img Then and if the date makes sense for that to be your previous image point the VM manager to that file and see if the VMs come up. Quote Link to comment
OsoPolar
root@Bearcave:~# ls -lh /path/to/libvirt.img /bin/ls: cannot access '/path/to/libvirt.img': No such file or directory Hi I had 3 VM's The PB is a Proxmox Backup Server image I have a Home Assistant VM which i use it daily The other is Windows 11, which i use it daily Quote Link to comment
OsoPolar
Does this have anything to do with the issue Quote Link to comment

OsoPolar
HI I have looked at these and still not 100% sure what you mean point VM manager at them I should have 3 VM's 1. Home Assistant (Critical) 2. Windows 11 Pro (Important) 3. PBS Proxmox Backup Server this is the vdisk2.img see 2 times But all the other libvirt images is 2 Jul or 18 July or 19 July but they are all the same size How do i find my HA VM? Solution JorgeB Posted July 19, 2023 Solution Share Posted July 19, 2023 Go to Settings -> VM Manager, stop the service, and make "Libvirt storage location" point to /mnt/user/PBS/system/libvirt/libvirt.img since based on the date that's the more promising one, then restart VM service and see if the VMs are back. OsoPolar
OK your a star got me back my VM's but i am having config issues in the docker apps you said i would not have to re configure if i added them back from app previously installed But none work and missing config. I used a custom docker network name and i recreated it but it does no work the only way i can launch the apps is using host and then the config is screwed up is there anyway to recover config files please? JorgeB
Restoring the apps should bring them all back as they were, assuming the same appdata is being used, you can also search for duplicate appdata folders and docker images. Quote Link to comment
OsoPolar
OK i am 95% back to normal just curious if you would know i setup a custom docker network with the identical name as before the update. When i try to use it nothing works with it blocks the webui?? Quote Link to comment
