hello all i wanted was to add another hdd and i got this

is ALL MY DATA gone ????

why is my parity drive not showing up?

Parity disk is not being detected, check/replace cables and see if it comes back.

A point to remember is that parity had none of your data - it just has the information that is required to rebuild the contents of s data disk if that fails.    In that sense parity is probably the disk you should panic the least about because as long as all the data drives are OK it’s contents can always be rebuilt from them.

so now i have a even weirder problem i managed to add the hdd it did a clean up for 8 h had to format it it shows in unraid

the problem is SMB or windows gone crazy

i had 16.3 before adding the new 8tb so i don't even know where is the 15.3 coming from and the 530 tb is a dream

any way to fix this ?

also is 45 c ok?

Updating to v6.12.3 should fix that.

 

45C is OK IMHO, but I wouldn't want it to go higher, and 40C would be better.
