Disk cache format zfs message - Unmountable : unsupported or no file system

Featured Replies

Good morning,

When I want to format my cache disk in zfs and I have the following message: Unmountable: unsupported or no file system.

I tried with two differents cache disks, I have the same problem. On the other hand, I formatted my data disk in zfs and everything went very well.

So I did the following commands:

zpool import -o readonly=on zfs

Result :
cannot import 'zfs': no such pool available

zpool import

Result :
zpool export cache
no pools available to import

Can you help me ?

Thank you

Jul 20 09:35:56 Serveur-Maison root: mountpoint '/mnt/cache' exists and is not empty

Reboot, if still the same you have something else creating that mountpoint.

It appears to be this:

Jul 20 11:48:37 Serveur-Maison rc.swapfile[6084]: Creating swap file /mnt/cache/swapfile please wait ...

The problem is solved !

I deleted the Swapfile application which wanted to create a file on the disk cache. I no longer use it.

Thank you so much !
