Can I Mix HDD and SSD in a unraid arrary?

I have 5 HDD Seagate Drive in my arrary and a Samsung SSD. all in the same arrary. Is this bad?

Some would use the SSD as a cache drive.  What you have will not break anything though.

I have a Intel Optimate SSD was a cached drive,  and another 2.5 SSD in the array pool.

It will work for adding capacity, but the performance will be random. Files that happen to land on the SSD will perform differently than files that land on other disks. Still, no reason it wouldn't work.

SSDs in the array can't be trimmed, and can only be written at parity speed.
