Its my time to replace my 7 year old server setup. but i'm very much in doubt on which CPU platform I should go for.

I really want a Epyc CPU as its offers much better performeces and PCIe v4 and much more.

but I'm worried when it comes to VM's and the ease of hardware Passthrough, as I'm hearing its not that easy with AMD.

Should i play safer and stay on the Intel side?

*Will run Plex

*Will run 2 VMs (one for gaming, 6Core each)

*Will run Nextcloud

*Will run 4 - 8 Game server's (2-4 shared Cores each)
