Cannot import Truenas ZFS pool on 6.12.3

Featured Replies

As the title suggest, I'm trying to import my Truenas ZFS pool following the below procedure, and I keep getting the same error:

Procedure for importing:

  1. Export the pool in Truenas
  2. Create new pool with 4 devices in Unraid
  3. Leave settings as auto
  4. Start array

These are the devices I'm trying to assign to the pool

I'm not familiar with the exact commands required, but I'm sure a Truenas pool doesn't import automatically YET. Something to do with the partition structure on Truenas using the second partition instead of the first. You should be able to import using the command line after each reboot, and importing automatically should be handled sometime in the nearish future.

Would importing manually allow me to use the pool like a normal array in Unraid?

Unraid cannot for now import Truenas pools that were created with swap and thus have zfs on partition #2, it should be able to import those pools starting with v6.13

Just won't be able to use the user shares, everything else should work.
