July 29, 20232 yr Hello Unraid Forum, You are my last hope now. I have been trying to get this to work without any luck. The first thing I did was to boot from a DOS USB and type the following commands: 1. megarec -writesbr 0 sbrempty.bin 2. megarec -cleanflash 0 Everything worked fine, and the clean was successful. However, when I tried to do the next step: 1. Reboot to DOS (yes, you must reboot) and type 2. sas2flsh -o -f 2118it.bin I encountered an error message: "Failed to initialize PAL." After that, I created an EFI bootable drive, found all the necessary files, and proceeded with the following steps in EFI shell: 1. fs0: (may be different on your machine) 2. dir (to verify you are on the correct USB stick!) 3. sas2flash -o -f 2118it.bin -b mptsas2.rom 4. sas2flash -o -sasadd <500605B0xxxxxxxx> In EFI, it seemed to load the necessary files correctly, and when I use sas2flash.efi -list, it even shows 0x2213 (IT), which seems promising. Now to the problem: I can't see the drives that are connected to the card. I have a green blinking light at the back of the card (see picture 2). I am not getting the prompt to press Ctrl+C to enter its BIOS... I am totally lost now. Where should I start? Do I need to enable something in the BIOS to get the card to work? My motherboard is Asus Strix 570x E Gaming. I'm not even sure if the files I used in the EFI folder and DOS folder are correct. I will also attach them. If somebody has a complete set of files, I would love to have them so I can make it work. dos.zip efi.zip
