Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

everytime I try to add my Graphic Card to my Windows 11 VM I get the following Error:

internal error: PCI host devices must use 'pci' or 'unassigned' address type

Here is my VM XML file (without the Graphic Card)

IOMMU group 26

IOMMU group 27

IOMMU group 28

IOMMU group 29

I have a saved vbios file and did try to use it.

EDIT:

I have 4 Graphic cards in my machine installed. The weird thing is: for this VM it does not matter which Graphic card i chose, they all give me the same error.

I have another Vm on this machine (also win 11) which seems to work with one of the graphic cards..... I am somewhat stunned....

I tried adding the card manually and now i can not connect to the vm via rdp... Unraid also states that the guest agent is not running/installed. I have deinstalled (restart) and reinstalled it, but unfortunately no change... I'd rather not lose this vm.... can anyone help me out?

I have added a bug report for this issue, if others who are also affected by this want to comment there, i am sure this issue will get more attention and hopefully a solution!
