Hi ich schaff es nicht ein Script, bei unassigned devices reinzu bekommen. 

 

Ich würde gerne wissen, wie und wo ich ein Script ablegen muss um im Dropdown Menu, das script angezeigt zu bekommen. 

 

 

 

Choose your Script File Name from the selection dropdown <-- hier ist nichts drinnen

or enter the desired Script <-- versteh ich leider nicht (also klar, gib das gewünschte Script ein, aber ich denke ich kann hier ja wohl kaum das ganze Script rein schreiben). 

 

vielleicht kann sich einer die Mühe machen, es mir mit bsp. zu erklären.

Ich habe diverse Scripts in "User Scripts" ziel wäre es das mgut Script für Backups zu nutzen, wenn ich mal verstanden habe wie das geht.

wie groß muss denn die Textbox sein ? da würdest du natürlich den kompletten Inhalt einsetzen ... abseits von externen scripts (wie es auch da steht, or = oder)

 

 

ansonsten wie bereits im anderen Thread erwähnt, frag doch einfach im Original Thread an (englisch) ... wenn du dich nicht traust einfach mal den Pfad manuell einzugeben zu dem abgelegten script.

 

Ohh man alti.. du machst mich fertig.. 

Hättest doch einfach unter dem hier.. "ja so geht's" schreiben können 😉 

 

Device Script: 

 

Schreib ich jetzt eine Datei im Texteditor mit "Inhalt Script" und speichere die als z.B. ScriptBackup.sh ab und lege Sie irgendwo auf dem Server ab und gebe entsprechend den Pfad hier an?

Auf jeden Fall größer wenn da ein Script rein muss.. zumindest für mich.. des sah einfach immer nur nach dem Feld für Pfad aus.. wie auch im bsp. Angezeigt.

 

Für euch ist das immer alles logisch.. für mich nicht so wirklich.. 😁😂

The best way to create a device script is to click on the 'Default' button to load the default script.  Then put your custom operations in the proper place in the default script to do what you want.  The UD scripts are stored on the flash at /flash/config/plugins/unassigned.devices/.  It's not a good idea to use a User Script as a device script.

 

The best use of a User Script is to do something like the following, but run it as a User Script:

• Mount the UD disk using the rc.unassigned script and refer to the disk's alias name rather than a device designation as they change on reboot.
• Perform the desired operations.
• Unmount the disk using the rc.unassigned script, again referring to the disk by it's alias name and not device designation.

I have a backup script to a UD device run in User Scripts once a day.

 

Click on the 'Help' icon while on the UD webpage and you'll see more about the rc.unassigned options.
