August 7, 20232 yr Hi all, I recently did a hardware refresh on my Unraid server. After the refresh it was up and running for a few days without issue. Now all of a sudden it will randomly freeze and become completely unresponsive. I am posting the syslog in hopes that there maybe something I am missing. For context it usually only happens when I am trying to pull down files directly to the server. Runs fine for a short period then I get no response from the server. Also parity is usually running as I am having to reboot it continually. Thanks for any and all help. syslog20230806.txt

August 8, 20232 yr Community Expert Start by running memtest, also look for a BIOS update, but there have been some stability issues reported by other Ryzen 7000 users, possibly too new for the kernel.
August 8, 20232 yr Author I was able to run the BIOS update and the server was online for just about 20 hours when we had a Storm roll through. Parity was a 92% completion when my power went out and I also now know that my APC battery is junk also. So that being said now the machine will not even load unraid. I get to a point and at the cli where I would log in I am getting Bug bad process error and the gui is unresposive in my browser.
August 9, 20232 yr Community Expert Try redoing the flash drive, or test with a different one using a stock install, no key needed, just to confirm if it still boots.

I have gotten the server running after some testing it appears to be a motherboard and RAM combo issue. I have 4 sticks of ram and the board will fail with them in place I have swapped out and tried multiple configs but the system only seems to like having one stick on at a time. Doesn't matter which stick or which slot but only one. I have read about the issue and I am currently looking into RAM alternatives for the system. With one stick the system has been up and running under moderate load without issue for 12 hours now.
