August 8, 20232 yr I cleaned up my system and swapped some of my onboard SATA connections with HBA cables, just for tidyness. Started up the server and heard a bit of a pop - server loaded but cache disk (SSD) was no longer detected. Shut down and chucked it on main PC and it wasn't detected either, so it seems like it failed for some reason. I put a different drive in as cache but now all my appdata is incorrect and the cache drive is showing as "Unmountable"- I have a backup from about 3 months ago (I know, least it's something). August 8, 20232 yr If it's a new cache drive you need to format it first, then restore the backup you have and see if it works.
