HELP! Parity Rebuilt going 1.7mbps. ETA 1 Month!

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

I just replaced my parity disk with a NVME drive, for some reason the rebuilt is taking a very long time.

The average speed is 1.7mbps with spikes to 3mbps and lows of 1mbps.

I don't understand why, NVME should be a lot faster than regular spinners...

My array has 20 drives total.

Please help!

Thank you

UPDATE:

Been about an hour since i started the parity rebuild, now the speeds have increased to 15 to 20mbps.

I wonder if the NVME drives work differently then other disks i have used?

Do you guys know what's going on with these speeds?

Thank you
