August 11, 20232 yr Hello Everyone, I just replaced my parity disk with a NVME drive, for some reason the rebuilt is taking a very long time. The average speed is 1.7mbps with spikes to 3mbps and lows of 1mbps. I don't understand why, NVME should be a lot faster than regular spinners... My array has 20 drives total. Please help! Thank you

August 11, 20232 yr Author UPDATE: Been about an hour since i started the parity rebuild, now the speeds have increased to 15 to 20mbps. I wonder if the NVME drives work differently then other disks i have used? Do you guys know what's going on with these speeds? Thank you
August 11, 20232 yr Check cables on disk 18, also the disk that was assigned temporarily as disk 20, then post new diags after array start.
