Grayed out drives?

Featured Replies

Looked at my server and suddenly several drives were showing gray. They didn’t say they were being emulated or anything. Then about 10min later they changed up. Anyone had this happen before? When I click on each drive they show everything is ok.

bottom image happened first then later the top. I’m on my phone.

Now more.  I added two drives yesterday which are going through their pre-clear then I did swap USB from the USB key to a USB DOM.  I did a backup to the DOM and put that in. Everything booted and was running fine all night without issue. Do you think this could have something to do with the USB? Right now I just need it to make it a couple more hours for the pre-clear to finish then I'll do a reboot.

I apologize I lied.  I can't run diagnostics because I'm not home and it just sits there stalled out.  But I did make one other change. I did run powertop and the subsequent commands found on the original thread here trying to lower my power consumption. Could that be doing it?
