fitur
Hi, I'm trying to set something up so that my kids can play on a dedicated Minecraft server instead of hosting a game on their Nintendo Switch for their friends which, after a couple of hours, becomes extremely laggy. I've tried these different scenarios: I host a server on my Xbox Series X and they can join me since we're Microsoft friends. I assume their friends can join because of "friends on other platforms". They host a server on their Nintendo Switch which both I and their friends can join because of "friends on other platforms". I host a server on my Unraid server with the binhex-minecraftbedrockserver Docker image which I can join on my Xbox Series X as a local server but their Nintendo Switch can't see the server and they can't see me on "friends on other platforms" in this scenario. Do you have any idea what I can do to set up a dedicated Minecraft server for a Nintendo Switch? Quote Link to comment
JonathanM
Apparently you have to intercept the switch's DNS to fool it into thinking it's connecting to an authorized server. https://www.howtogeek.com/875829/how-to-join-any-minecraft-server-on-the-nintendo-switch/ Quote Link to comment
