Read error during multiple disk rebuild

I had two drives have errors the other day, and they seem to be failing. During the rebuild i just had 1 drive have a shit ton of read errors. These drives are connected via a backplane, so less likely it is a cable. Anyway so the rebuild function hasn't moved at all as far as i can tell over the last few hours. Attached is the diagnostic. Just curious what i should do as next step?

    Disk14 dropped offline, cancel the rebuild, power down, use a different slot for disk14, if no spare swap with a different disk and try again.

    So when i try to cancel via the web interface nothing happens, is there a cli command for cancelling safely before i reboot?
