August 18, 20232 yr Is there a way to increase or unlock the file name length in SMB on unriad via config or setting change?

There's no way to increase the file name length in samba. It's a function of the underlying file system in Linux. Generally about 255 bytes that includes the full file path.

That is usually how I get around it on windows. I was hoping Unraid also had a trick to increasing it as well. Does FTP or NFS also have this limitation on Unraid?
