August 19, 20232 yr Hello, This is currently my array. One of my 3tb drives has failed. I am planning on purchasing 3x new 18tb drives to replace this and add to the array. There was nothing stored on the 3tb. How could i go about replacing it with one of these 18tb drives. I also have a spare 2tb drive i could implement to rebuild the array and then replace with the bigger drives if needed.
August 19, 20232 yr Community Expert Since parity is smaller than 18TB you'd need to do the parity swap procedure.
