can't delete directory from cache drive

Featured Replies

One of my user shares, pictured below, is configured to be on Array only.
Somehow, though, there's an empty directory `/vr` on my cache drive, which I cannot remove in any way.

Any help please?

rm: cannot remove 'vr': Device or resource busy

Since the share is not empty you cannot use the GUI, to delete just that dataset (folder) you can type:

zfs destroy cache/vr

If the pool is not named cache replace cache with correct pool name.

Thank you! That worked.

That worked. Thanks!

Well, i tried this, and it returns "cannot destroy 'cache/{share name}': dataset is busy".
Weirdly enough, after that didn't work, i was able to to to File Manager and delete the folders!

Not sure what was the solution here, just sharing my experience!
