Erase and recreate ZFS pool

Featured Replies

Hello all. I created a zfs pool using a release candidate of 6.12.0 (I believe RC5). I read this in the upgrade notes

`If you created any zpools using 6.12.0-beta5, please Erase those pools and recreate.`

If this applies to me, how do I go about erasing and recreating the pool without data loss? Thanks in advance

It doesn't apply to you, betas were before rcs.

@JorgeB that's what I suspected, thanks for not calling me dumb haha.

Another question, when I upgrade from 6.12.0.RC6 to 6.12.3, all my nfs shares break and I can't seem to get them to ever work (I've tried disabling/enabling nfs in the share as well as system, rebooting, etc). Is this a known issue? Am I being a noob and missing something obvious?

I ended up rolling back to RC6 and the shares work as expected without changing anything. I read in the documentation about Exclusive Shares, is that what's needed?

Can't really help with NFS, suggest creating a new thread about that and post the diags with 6.12.3
