26 drives?

Featured Replies

"Finally, for those of you with huge servers, the number of storage devices recognized is increased to 26 - note there is NO increase in array width yet at this time, this is merely expanding the length of the drop-down box for assign drives on the Main page."

does this mean that we can have 26 data drives?

i may be reading this wrong because i am not entirely sure what is meant by "there is no increse in array width"

either way, it doesn't really matter to me. i am content with replacing my 1TB with 3TB as i need to.

thanks for helping me to understand what this means.

Answer: No.

As LimeTech explained later in the thread, it merely means that it recognizes upto 26 drives when it goes through device inventory for you to select your drives from. The limits of your license remains the same as before.
