Share not accessible through WebGUI, NFS, etc

Featured Replies

Hi,  I'm running Unraid 6.11.5 on my server and for the past few months I've been having an issue with one of my shares.  I cannot access it through the WebGUI file manager, NFS or Samba - the webGUI just has the spinning graphic.   I cannot access the share through unraids shell, either.  When I try to click on the share to change properties, etc. through the 'share' tab, it causes the GUI to hang and inevitably giving a nginx 500 error.

Interestingly, Plex can access the shared files without an issue.  I did have a SMART error 5 on one of my drives, so I know I need to replace that one - but would that cause the whole share to malfunction?

Thanks!

What's the share name?

Sorry - I guess that would have been helpful!   It's   'Shows' , so the S---s share in the redacted folder

Thanks!

cfg looks OK from what I can see, but you can rename it to .old and then see if the newly created one works, share will revert to default settings.

Thanks for the response.  I can rename the folder .old but unfortunately, I still cant see or access the contents.

And if you go to shares can you see and click on that share?

Also post the output of:

ls -l /mnt/user

The unraid logo just 'spins' as it does when I clicked on the share initially.  The shell just hangs as well when trying to list the contents.

Before I was asking to rename the share cfg file (/boot/config/shares/shows.cfg), not the actual share, though renaming the share would create a new cff.

That looks more like a filesystem issue, but don't see anything logged, check filesystem on all array disks, it won't hurt (run it without -n).

Oh, oops ha.  Changed the share cfg too - still no luck.     Nothing popped up on filesystem check either....

Don't have many more ideas, you could try redoing the flash drive and restoring only the bare minimum from the backup, like key and array/pool assignments, to see if it's config related or not.

Thanks.  I was afraid of that.
