eth0 and eth1 keep dropping down to 100 Mb after connecting at 1 Gb

I would think this is a hardware issue such as a dodgy connection in the LAN cable or a pin on the port at either end.

The weird thing is it was fine for several months before.

 

I've tried replacing the cable with no luck. I have also tried multiple ports on the other end as well as both eth0 and eth1.
