August 26, 20232 yr So recently I got a 3 bay hotswap tray for my computer that I installed two HDDs on. However I noticed Unraid reporting unusually high temps. Normal temps are usually in the range of 35-45 C depending on load but these two drives are 10+ degrees higher. I thought it might be a cooling issue and rechecked all the fans including the one directly on the HDD's in question but everything is fine. When I actually open the bay to test touch the drives, they're fairly cool and don't seem to be giving off the temps that Unraid is reporting. Is the drive bay somehow messing with how Unraid reports temps?
