August 27, 20232 yr Hello ! My unraid server was offline and cover of dust for 2 years... So I decided to restart it and perform a full clean reinstall : First I formated the usb key with le lastedt version and copy my .key file inside. After booting everything was OK so I tried to deleted my old partitions and clear with Preclear (I have 2HDD and 1 SSD for cache) Clear hdd was ok but im struggled to do the same thing with the cache SSD (btrfs) and i encounter errors : Quote Remove partition failed: 'Warning: Error fsyncing/closing /dev/sdd1: Input/output error Warning: Error fsyncing/closing /dev/sdd: Input/output error Warning: Error fsyncing/closing /dev/sdd1: Input/output error Error: Input/output error during write on /dev/sdd Warning: Error fsyncing/closing /dev/sdd1: Input/output error Warning: Error fsyncing/closing /dev/sdd: Input/output error '. Same with the blkdiscard command : Quote blkdiscard: /dev/sdd: BLKDISCARD ioctl failed: Input/output error So now im stucked and it's impossible to clear, remove partition or mount my SSD. August 27, 20232 yr Community Expert Solution Aug 27 03:59:16 Jurassic-Nas emhttpd: SATAFIRM_S11_PNY4720002924020600B (sdd) 512 234441648 SATAFIRM on the device name suggests it failed, constant ATA errors on the log as well, you can try to replace/swap cables to rule that out but suspect an SSD issue.
