August 30, 20232 yr Two drives fell offline at the same time more or less. Smart test = no issues. Just offline. I moved them to another drive bay during a reboot but still will not come up. diagnostics added. prime-diagnostics-20230829-1911.zip
August 30, 20232 yr Community Expert Once a disk gets disabled it needs to be rebuilt, if the emulated disks are still mounting and contents look correct you can rebuild on top: https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/manual/storage-management#rebuilding-a-drive-onto-itself If it happens again grab diags before rebooting.
August 30, 20232 yr Author Well 6 Min into rebuild in maintenance mode now another drive has errors stacking and no data writes to the rebuilding drives. What is your recommendation? prime-diagnostics-20230830-0512.zip
August 30, 20232 yr Community Expert Solution It's not logged as a disk problem, and the disk dropped offline and reconnected again, suggesting a power/connection issue, or controller problem, but power/connection is much more likely, cancel the rebuild, check/replace cables or PSU and try again
