notdeadyet
Hello, I recently had a drive get disabled due to write errors. I ran an extended SMART test on disk 1 and it passed with no issues. Unplugged and replugged the cables, and did a rebuild of the drive onto itself. The rebuild is currently happening, and now disk 2 is throwing read errors and many files are now missing completely from my shares but are visible on the drives themselves. Where do I go from here to not lose my files? Attached are the diagnostics Edited September 2, 2023 by notdeadyet removed diagnostics Quote Link to comment
notdeadyet
Just to add to this - the disk2 folder is completely missing from /mnt/ which may be the cause of the missing files from the shares. Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted September 1, 2023 Solution Share Posted September 1, 2023 Cancel the rebuild, check/replace cables on disk2, try again. Quote Link to comment
