September 1, 20232 yr Hello, I recently had a drive get disabled due to write errors. I ran an extended SMART test on disk 1 and it passed with no issues. Unplugged and replugged the cables, and did a rebuild of the drive onto itself. The rebuild is currently happening, and now disk 2 is throwing read errors and many files are now missing completely from my shares but are visible on the drives themselves. September 1, 20232 yr Author Just to add to this - the disk2 folder is completely missing from /mnt/ which may be the cause of the missing files from the shares.
September 1, 20232 yr Community Expert Solution Cancel the rebuild, check/replace cables on disk2, try again.
