my daughter accidentally knocked an external drive in the array causing a loose connection causing it to become disabled and emulated. is there a way to just tell unraid to continue as normal as i know the data is fine and isnt critical data and easily replaced i dont want to wait days for it to rebuild?

You can do a new config and trust parity, but will need to run a correcting check, since a few sync errors will be expected, and it should take a similar amount of time.
