Upgrade issue - Eth0 Not Found

Featured Replies

Hello all.

I still seem to be having a problem with upgrading my unraid box.

Im a little outdated and running 6.9.

I tried upgrading through the GUI to latest version however i get an Eth0 missing error, so rolled back to 6.9. Following some advice i tried doing it manually replacing the bz* files on the boot drive and same issue. I have also tried a manual upgrade to 6.10.3 again with the same issue.

I know the hardware is fine as its working happily in 6.9 its only on upgrade Eth0 decides to be a ghost. Im guessing there is an issue with my config that is breaking something between versions but im not that clever and dont know where to start.

Diagnostics from the boot of 6.10.3 attached.

Thanks

Bios is up to date, still having the same issue. Eth0 missing.

I don't get why it initialises fine in 6.9 but not in anything newer, i'm guessing there is a config issue somewhere, but god knows where.

Any ideas how I go about sorting that out?

If there's no BIOS update probably not much else you can do, other than using a different NIC.
