Dashboard 3 columns and save it

Hi all,

 

How can I get my dashboard to force 3 columns? I have plenty of white space so would like to force 3.

 

Also if I wipe my browsers cache or whatever I lose where each section was assigned, can I lock it in place for good, no matter which device accesses the dashboard?

The number of columns shown is dictated by the horizontal resolution of the screen and is set automatically.  Arrangement of the various tiles is handled by cookies, so it is a per device setting.

I guessed, is there any way we can get a plugin to overrule this? 

 

I love the new dashboards but it needs to be manually adjustable and maintainable through cookie removal.

The intent is that if there is room for three columns there will be three columns, if there isn't room then there won't be. 

 

The one exception to this is if while customizing the dashboard you remove all tiles from a given column, then that column is deleted. In that case, to restore the missing column, unlock the page and click the wrench icon, then reset your tiles.

 

Note that in previous versions of Unraid the columns were different sizes, and wider tiles were restricted to wider columns. Because tiles can now go in any column, all columns are now the same (wider) size and that may result in there only being room for two columns where there were previously three.
