Upgrade to 6.12.4 with some issues starting array and ghost array

Featured Replies

I just upgraded Unraid to the newest version, and made a couple changes. I had a zfs pool of just nvme devices that I destroyed and added those nvme devices to the other zfs pool as arc/log drives. In the Main page, the old pool still shows up and shows unsupported devices or unsupported file system. How can I get rid of that? also the array will not start. it just shows starting. I dont see anything in the logs that indicate why it wont start.

Also, New Config wont work, the Dashboard is frozen on load (will not update),

Unassign all devices and delete the pool, then reboot and post a screenshot of main before array start and new diags.

logs#011
Sep 10 22:11:54 Backup emhttpd:    /dev/nvme2n1p1  ONLINE       0     0     0
Sep 10 22:11:54 Backup emhttpd:    /dev/nvme3n1p1  ONLINE       0     0     0

These NVMe devices should also be assigned to the pool, unassign all pool devices, start array (it should start now, but it may require a reboot first), then stop array, re-assign all the pool devices including the logs vdev in the last slots (leave the pool set to auto), start array.

ok, after rebooting, setting the array to not start via cfg file, I was able to get the array started. I have just a cache pool in the Pool devices (not zfs). How do I add back my zfs pool without destroying the data?

Yep

I found from a different thread, that I had to export the pool, then add it to the pool and allow unraid to do the import before I got rid of the "unmountable" note. it all works lovely now and no data loss. Thank you!

Oops, sorry, didn't even notice that it was unmountable, you probably started the array with the pool imported, but glad it's solved.
