theone Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 I keep getting the following emails from my APC UPS: The emails come in pairs and are repeated every few minutes sometime for a few hours. I stated getting them for the first time about a week ago after nothing for almost a year. What is the reason and why? jmos1277 Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Funny enough, I have also started getting the same emails from my unRAID box telling me that it has restored its connection with the UPS. However, I haven't had any time to dig into it yet. The most recent happened just now ... during a lightning storm. I didn't lose power, but maybe there was a power fluctuation that upset the UPS (guessing here).
beckp Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 I got the same error when I dressed the cables behind my tower. Keep the USB interface cable away from the AC power cable going to the UPS. Avoid a parallel run.
