Incomplete torrent on diferent share?

Featured Replies

Hello guys, i need some advise since im pretty new to Unraid and i cant figure out my concerns:

I made an array with 4 disks + one parity + 1 cache nvme. My main usage will be torrent + plex. I used to have it on a RPI and i just upgraded.

My config right now is the cache disk for appdata, domains, iso and system shares, and the array for a "media" called share.

Im using transmission as torrent client.

Since i would like to keep torrents seeding and I dont want to mess with Mover and seeding torrents, im downloading directly to the array to the "media" share.

I would like to set up a different share based on the cache pool for the incomplete torrent, so it downloads to the cache disk to a incomplete folder, then gets moved to the array as finished so parity disk and choosed disk just write when moved, and not during the entire download.

Is this even possible? I dont seem to find out how.

Thanks in advance! I will keep working in the meanwhile and if i figure out i will edit for further consults
